Use this healthy and unhealthy choices lesson during drug awareness week or any other time throughout the year! Start out with a quick hunt to discuss the meaning of different choices, then have students sort them onto a plate or into the 3D garbage can. For extra engagement, they will read about Drake, who has been making some funny and gross unhealthy choices, and help him find better ones to feel better! Students then complete a coloring page as a wrap-up. Use individually, in a group, or as a classroom lesson.? Sorting activities are great for measuring student understanding and recording data for IEP goals that focus on categorization.
