These fortune tellers are always a favorite mindfulness activity! These fortune tellers include the ideas of self-care, grounding techniques, mindful breathing, and positive or negative thoughts. 2 different levels of difficulty have been included to tailor to your age group. Students can use pre-made fortune tellers or create their own! Use this mindfulness activity in individual, group, or classroom settings.

What is mindfulness?

• Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. Mindfulness is used with an awareness of your senses and detail. You can be mindful in many ways, including practicing self-care, using grounding techniques, practicing mindful breathing, and being aware of your thoughts.

Why is it important?

• Practicing mindfulness can help reduce and relieve stress with helpful techniques. It can be particularly helpful for students with anxiety to help them feel more in control and aware of how they are feeling in a given moment
