This stress and mindfulness escape room is great for introducing, practicing, or reviewing strategies for mindfulness! It includes a printable and digital version giving many options for set-up. The printable version can be used as a class lesson – breaking up the class into groups, as a whole class lesson, small group lesson, or individually in a small group. The digital version can be projected to complete as a class, assigned to group leaders and used on a single device as a group, or assigned to students individually in Google Classroom (TM). If assigning to students individually, you should still be available for support
This lesson can last 1-2 35-45 minute sessions and covers a range of subtopics related to stress and mindfulness. Topics include the fight-flight-freeze response & cortisol, positive self-talk, grounding techniques, emotional awareness, and self-care. This activity can be completed without a foundation of the skills included, but I recommend at least a brief discussion of each topic. Without that, more students may request clue cards, particularly for challenges #1 and #2. The intro lesson I recommend and use before this activity can be purchased here
The digital version can be used on most devices with the Google Forms (TM) and Google Slides (TM) apps. **Students must have their own gmail accounts to use the digital version**
This download includes:

I hope your students enjoy this as much as mine do! *If you are having technical issues, please contact me before leaving a poor review: firstname.lastname@example.org
